Hi,

I am currently using itest to capture quite a large test plan so that we can automate and add validation afterwards.  For some reason the response data for my earlier tests has disappeared. 

The only thing that I have done is move the completed and tested testcases into a subfolder called "completed" under testcases. 

Is that expected behaviour?

Yes.  When iTest shows you the response that goes with a step in a test case, it is doing this by looking back in its database of test reports to find the last time that that particular test case was executed.  If you move the test case, then it is not considered the same test, and therefore won't find that report.
