2 questions on behalf of a customer:

1)      Will co-mingling Fanfare and IBM licenses on FlexLM work ? Can we deploy Fanfare licenses to a FlexLM server which is also licensing another supplier?

2)      Can we refer to license servers in iTest by DNS name and not IP address ?

I understand the answers to be NO and YES in that order but need confirmation.

I do believe that the answer to #1 is yes.  That's how Cisco and other do things. Each company supplies their own vendor daemon, in our case it's the fanfare vendor daemon.  The license file refers to the vendor daemon to be used for each licensable feature.
